When we first walked into this flat in Maastricht, the silence was loud.
No hot water. One long, dark room that felt like it had held its breath for years.
The kitchen was still in place, barely — laminate counters, loose tiles, brittle cabinets that had given up asking to be opened gently.
But we saw the bones. And we said YES.
A lot was done by hand.
There is something grounding about building a space to bring a space to its best state.
We measured, cut wood, tried dozens of textures, and started changing every corner.
New kitchen layout. New countertops, new island in the middle.
Twelve months later, the space is unrecognizable.
What used to be cold and dark is now warm, layered, and calm. We didn’t just redesign the room — we reimagined the way it feels to live in it.
New floors, custom lighting, storage where it matters. The kitchen flows into the living area, and every corner finally makes sense.
Looks a massive change IMO
:-O
